About the Artist Sana’ Mouasher, writer, producer and vocalist of Lebanese & Jordanian heritage.

"Being a mother of three, and having enjoyed my childhood, I took my passion with me and rooted it in my love for my children and music and thus the idea came to be my CDs came to life.

The lack of Arabic songs and tunes for children made me ache and I was determined to make a difference in creating songs that our kids can love, grow with and benefit from.

My music will open doors of imagination whereby each journey take each individual child thought a unique experience.

I have offered the boat and the sail but the course the child chooses to direct is his. I give my captains the choice"

Customer REVIEWS:

I want to teach my children both arabic and spanish. It's been hard finding things in arabic that are not islamic as most of those who wish to go thru the effort of teaching arabic to their kids are doing it for religious reasons. This cd has a lot of fun buoyant songs with no specific religious leaning (the creators could be any religious persuasion), just easy to sing along with songs, printed lyrics inside in both english and arabic, and at least one recognizable tune for american kids- there is a song about a duck that's done to the tune of the chicken dance. One of the songs on this cd includes basic manners in it and the lyrics praise using good words like "thank you" and "welcome", "hello" and "goodbye". Another is about a bee and teaches a few english phrases. A third goes thru the colors, and another has children singing of the common dreams among all nations of peace and happiness. The enunciation is very clear and the second half of the cd is the background music to the previous songs to allow children to sing the songs themselves. I've already loaned it to my sister-in-law for her children that speak arabic as their first language, so I can say that it is kid approved as well as enjoyed by me. I'm looking into getting other cds in the series. Terri

I just want to say I think what you have done is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! Mashallah! My wife and I are both American/Canadian born Arabs and we have been looking for music CDs to keep our child engaged in learning Arabic and English simultaneously. Your Music/songs/CD are PERFECT. - Iyad Wazwaz

You can't imagine how much our children at the nursery enjoyed your 2 lovely children songs tapes. We chose 4 songs for the children to perform in our coming concert. Thank you again and hope to hear more tapes from you. - Maha Al-Alami, Principal, The little Academy Nursery and Kindergarten

It was so difficult for me to find something interesting, real, and something that we could both easily relate to in our mother tongue! Thanks a million!!! Tania AL Nasser Diab.

Sana, You did a great job doing educational Arabic songs for our kids.
I am an Arab who lives in the area of New York with twin girls who are now 13 months old. I recently received your CD "lali lali" or twinkle twinkle little star and loved it. I know that for us Arabs living in abroad our language is a big issue. I find your work bridges a gap between the two cultures for our children. It is very useful for those of us who see our children slowly stop using their mother tongue to have tools like your work. - Hala Hindi

I think that the children's Arabic songs' CDs ("Beity Ahla Beit", "Lali Lali" and "Ya jiddi wa Sitti") are amazing! I love the fact that my two year old daughter and I enjoy listening to and singing along with your songs each day as I drive her to the nursery, and how in our free time when we feel like being silly , we turn up the sound and start dancing in our living room to some GOOD ARABIC music!!!! We such few sources of Arabic songs for small children, attractive music and words.
Thank you Mrs Sana!- Rania Victor Khalil Andoni, music teacher& educator 1991-2006

I am writing to you having bought your cd of nursery rhymes for my nine month old son, Hameed. Let me congratulate you on some wonderful music, with great lyrics. Yours is the only tape that gets my son dancing! - Lamia Tabbaa

Any parent raising children in an English/Arabic setting knows the challenges of finding interesting and high quality Arabic media that competes effectively against the vast and diverse resources available in English. With these CDs there is no compromise, the songs are amazing, they are well produced, and there is an excellent mix of familiar nursery rhymes like “ba ba black sheep” or “twinkle twinkle little star” as well as others which are uniquely Arabic like “Mama Baba hibooni”. I decided to purchase the set of five and am absolutely delighted with each, my two year old loves them and I am enjoying learning the songs along with her – nothing has made me more proud than hearing her request one of her Arabic CDs when we are in the car or at home. These are an awesome addition to my child’s library where previously we had no Arabic music – thank you.
